He explained that his decision to move to the ADC was driven by his commitment to transformative leadership and his belief that the party’s coalition offers a stronger platform to achieve his vision for a new and prosperous Kogi State.

“With the calibre of people in the ADC, I believe it is the right platform where my dream for a better Kogi can become reality,” he stated, urging residents to join the movement for positive change.
Braimoh described Kogi as a state rich in potential but suffering from poor leadership. “We have allowed the worst among us to lead while the best of us are sidelined. It’s time to change that narrative,” he added.
He encouraged citizens to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) and participate actively in the 2027 elections, emphasizing that meaningful change can only come through civic engagement and voting for credible leaders.

Kogi ADC Chairman, Hon. Kingsley Temitope Ogga, commended Braimoh’s defection, describing it as a “timely and strategic decision.” He noted that the ADC is united and prepared to present honest and competent leaders in the next political dispensation.
“ADC stands for the people’s interest. When Nigerians entrust us with power, they will witness leadership anchored on integrity and service,” Ogga said.

Braimoh was formally presented with the ADC membership card, marking his official entry into the party.
The development comes amid growing political realignments across the country as parties and politicians prepare for the 2027 general elections.
