EPL: Isak Matches Premier League Record as Newcastle Sink Spurs

Newcastle responded instantly as Anthony Gordon fired a precise low shot into the far corner past Spurs debutant goalkeeper Brandon Austin, equalizing just two minutes later. England manager Thomas Tuchel watched on as Spurs protested that Joelinton had handled Lucas Bergvall’s pass in the buildup, but officials ruled the contact accidental, allowing the goal to stand.
Isak came close to scoring after the half-hour mark, dragging a Jacob Murphy cross wide, but the Swedish striker made no mistake moments later. A deflected delivery from Murphy fell perfectly for Isak, who calmly slotted home to make it 2-1.
