A task force has presented its findings, with the Premier League club optimistic about beginning preliminary work before the year ends.
The panel, including Gary Neville, Andy Burnham, and Lord Coe, was tasked with evaluating whether to modernize Old Trafford or construct a state-of-the-art stadium on nearby land. Their report reveals that redeveloping the current stadium, which has been Manchester United’s home since 1910, would only increase capacity to 87,000.
