According to him, the distribution of welcome-back packages consisting of books, bags, and other writing materials has been a tradition since the beginning of his administration. He explained,
“This continuity is our way of saying thank you to the parents of our pupils for their support before, during, and after elections, and to ease the resumption expenses.”
APC Apex Leader in Eredo LCDA, Hon. Dolapo, commended the initiative, saying,
“This is the fifth edition of this project, and it shows that Hon. Akinloye always has the pupils at heart.”
The Vice Chairman urged pupils to use the books wisely while appealing to parents and guardians to ensure the materials are well protected.
“Monitor these books and make sure they are well utilized,” he said.
Hon. Mary, a councillor, and Hon. Johnson, the Majority Leader, also praised the gesture and encouraged the beneficiaries to make good use of the books.
