Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has successfully completed the construction of a perimeter fence and a double-leaf gate at Anglican Primary School, Igbooye to enhance security and provide a better learning environment for pupils.

The project, executed under the leadership of Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, aligns with the administration’s commitment to strengthening educational infrastructure and ensuring the safety of students and staff across schools in Eredo LCDA.
Speaking on the development, Hon. Akinloye highlighted the importance of security in educational institutions
“This project is a testament to our dedication to providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our children.
Education is the foundation of our future, and by securing our schools, we are creating a better atmosphere for learning and development.
We will continue to invest in education and infrastructure to uplift our communities,” he stated.
Teachers and parents have welcomed the initiative, expressing their appreciation for the council’s commitment to education.
A teacher at Anglican Primary School, noted the positive impact the fence and gate would have on students’ safety and focus.
“We are grateful for this project because it eliminates distractions and keeps our pupils safe. With this new fence, we no longer have to worry about trespassers or unauthorized access to the school premises,” she said.
A Community leader also commended the LCDA, emphasizing the long-term benefits of securing school environments.
