Eredo LCDA to Host 2024 Christmas Funfair with Special Support for Widows
Ekohotblog reports that Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) has officially announced the 2024 Children’s Christmas and New Year Funfair, promising a day filled with celebration, empowerment, and unforgettable memories.
The event, scheduled for 27th December 2024 at the Eredo LCDA Secretariat, will commence at 10:00 AM and is expected to bring together families, children, and residents for a unique blend of festivities and community engagement.
Speaking about the event, the Executive Chairman of Eredo LCDA, Hon. Monsuru Akinloye, expressed his excitement and assured everyone that the program would be a memorable experience for all attendees.
“This year’s funfair is more than just a celebration; it is a platform to give back to our community, empower our people, and create a joyous atmosphere for our children and families,” he said.
The funfair will feature a variety of exciting activities, including an Empowerment Program, the Widow’s Might Initiative, a Raffle Draw, Games, Quiz Competitions, and lively Music and Dance sessions.

According to the event coordinator, “We’ve planned something truly special this year. The Widow’s Might Initiative will empower women, while the children will enjoy endless fun with games, competitions, and surprises. This event is a celebration of unity, love, and progress in Eredo LCDA.”
Parents and guardians are encouraged to bring their children to partake in the festivities.
“It’s a chance for us to bond as a community and celebrate the season of joy. We hope to see everyone there,” said a resident.
