Dr. Tunji-Ojo further urged citizens to embrace President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which, according to him, focuses on national rebirth, economic revitalization, and shared prosperity.
He expressed optimism that with the collective support and cooperation of all Nigerians, the nation would continue to achieve greater peace, progress, and sustainable development.

“The Minister expressed confidence that, with the cooperation of all Nigerians, the country will continue to grow stronger in peace, progress, and development,” the statement read.
He extended his best wishes to citizens for a joyous and memorable Independence Day celebration, emphasizing that the anniversary should serve as a reminder of the sacrifices made by past leaders and citizens who fought for freedom and self-determination.
Nigeria secured its independence from British colonial rule on October 1, 1960, and has since marked the day with nationwide activities that highlight the country’s cultural identity, unity, and aspirations.
This year’s celebration, themed “Nigeria @ 65: All Hands on Deck for a Greater Nation,” commenced with special prayers in mosques and churches across the country, setting the tone for a week of events that will culminate in the official Independence Day ceremony.
