EKO HOT BLOG reports that the new rule was disclosed by forward Ferran Torres during an appearance on El Hormiguero. “Hansi Flick has just changed the rules on arriving late. If it’s matchday and you’re late, you have to pay a €40,000 fine,” Torres said.
The revelation, first highlighted by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano on 𝕏, underlines Flick’s firm leadership style as Barcelona pursue domestic success this season. The Catalan club currently sit top of La Liga, one point ahead of Real Madrid, following a dominant 3-0 victory over Levante on Sunday.
While discipline remains a priority on the pitch, attention is also turning to Barcelona’s summer transfer plans. According to reports in SPORT, the club’s hierarchy has conducted an internal assessment and is leaning towards activating the €30 million option to sign Marcus Rashford on a permanent deal.
The England international, who arrived amid questions over his recent form, has delivered strong performances. Thrust into the starting lineup following an injury to Raphinha, Rashford adapted quickly to high-pressure fixtures. He has recorded ten goals and twelve assists since joining the club.

Initially, sporting director Deco and the recruitment team were uncertain about triggering the purchase clause, seeking evidence that Rashford could regain his sharpness and influence. His recent contributions appear to have shifted that stance.
