EKO HOT BLOG reports that according to reports, the collision involved two fuel tankers and two passenger Golf cars. Eyewitnesses said the impact triggered five loud explosions, sending massive flames and thick black smoke into the sky.
“All the occupants of the cars died on the spot, except one driver who survived but suffered severe burns,” a witness recounted.
The crash, believed to have been caused by the collision of the vehicles, ignited an intense blaze that spread rapidly. The explosions were reportedly heard from several kilometres away, sparking panic among residents. Emergency responders, including the fire service, security agencies, and medical teams, quickly arrived at the scene to contain the fire and assist victims.
The affected area was cordoned off as rescue and recovery operations continued. Motorists and pedestrians were urged to avoid the route to allow emergency teams to work without obstruction.
While the exact number of casualties has not yet been confirmed, initial accounts suggest that several people were killed and others sustained varying degrees of injury. The lone survivor from the Golf cars was rushed to the hospital for urgent treatment.

“This is a very sad day for our community. The fire was so intense that nothing could be done immediately to save those trapped,” a resident lamented.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the crash and explosions.
