Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd. has announced that all its branches across Nigeria will close earlier than usual on Monday, June 30, 2025, to facilitate the bank’s scheduled half-year audit.

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the notice was communicated to customers via email on Saturday, where the bank detailed the temporary adjustment in operation hours and provided alternative banking options.
“Please be informed that our branches nationwide will close to customers early on Monday, June 30, 2025, for our half-year audit,” the statement read.
The bank further clarified the specific closing times based on location. Branches outside Lagos, referred to as upcountry branches, will close by 2:00 p.m., while Lagos branches will close by 3:00 p.m.
GTBank advised customers to use its digital banking platforms, including mobile apps, internet banking, and ATMs, to carry out their transactions during the early closure.
“We encourage all our esteemed customers to continue their transactions seamlessly using our digital channels during this period,” the bank stated.
The bank assured that normal banking activities would resume nationwide at regular hours on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

GTBank expressed gratitude to its customers for their understanding and continued support during the audit process.
