In my opinion, if the First Lady of a country is wished well other mothers in that country are automatically blessed.

However, one of the major clauses which are familiar with the president of Nigeria and which Nigerians will always recall in their memories is “Women only belong the kitchen and the other room”.

Surprisingly, Mr. President used that clause when he was trying to say that the First Lady had little to add to his administration in his first democratic administration.

What really made Mr. President think otherwise about the First Lady and womanhood, in general, was that when the First Lady was lamenting that Mr. President had stopped listening to those that worked hard for his breakthrough in the presidential race in 2015, rather he did listen to relatives and childhood friends.

The First Lady was the one that told Nigerians that Hynes and Jackass had taken over the Aso-Rock.

Denotatively, Hyenas, and Jackass mean animals but connotatively they mean something else.

Connotatively, Hyenas means a man that performs ritualized sex acts with recently widowed women and menarchal girls.

While Jackass means a foolish or stupid person, fool, idiot, dink, dope, buffoon. It has other ridiculous meanings: an inappropriately rude or obnoxious person, asshole, bastard, bitch.
Will Nigerians not agree that all sorts of aforementioned characters participated in Mr. President’s first democratic administration?
Well, I will take the First Lady as someone that sees tomorrow despite the fact that some school of never agreed with her.

Mr. President may still believe that women only belong to the kitchen and the other room but if he had not listened to the First Lady, would he be successful at the last presidential election?

Happy Mother’s day to the Nigeria First Lady, Madam Aishat Muhammad Buhari, and other Nigerian Women.
