Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, popularly known as Harrysong, has disclosed that he is now in a polygamous relationship following his separation from his wife, Alexer Peres.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the singer made the revelation during a recent interview on Yanga FM Lagos, where he explained that all his current girlfriends are fully aware of one another and have accepted the arrangement.

The Reggae Blues crooner insisted that there was nothing wrong with polygamous relationships, stressing that mutual understanding and consent are key. According to him, everyone involved in the relationship is treated with respect and dignity.
“I am currently in a polygamous relationship. All my girlfriends know themselves and they are all doing well. Everybody is happy and nobody was forced into anything,” Harrysong said.
The singer further defended his stance by citing international examples, noting that American singer Ne-Yo is also in a similar relationship. He urged critics to stop imposing their personal beliefs on others, saying people should be allowed to live in ways that make them happy.
Harrysong also revealed that some of his girlfriends are foreigners, including an American, adding that the relationship thrives on openness and honesty among all parties involved.
It will be recalled that Harrysong and his estranged wife, Alexer Peres, parted ways in 2024 after three years of marriage. The separation was surrounded by controversy, with both parties making serious allegations against each other.
While Harrysong claimed that Alexer became pregnant for another man while they were still living together and alleged they had not been intimate for over a year, his ex-wife denied the accusation. Alexer, in turn, accused the singer of domestic violence and claimed he cheated on her on their wedding night.
