The company said authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze and efforts are underway to assist affected families.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of the morning, when many workers were inside the building. Although exact figures were not immediately confirmed, Heirs Holdings expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life, assuring the public that the safety of its staff remains a top priority.
Fire safety experts suggest that such tragic events often stem from inadequate safety checks, poor maintenance of fire-prevention equipment, or lack of accessible escape routes.

In its statement, Heirs Holdings said all such protocols are being reviewed to prevent future recurrence.
Rescue efforts were reportedly swift, with emergency responders called in as soon as the fire alarm systems were triggered. Some of the injured were rushed to nearby hospitals.
The company is said to have mobilised both internal and external emergency teams to manage the aftermath.
Families of the victims have been notified, while Heirs Holdings has also pledged support both financial and medical to those who survived but were affected.
The company also promised full cooperation with fire safety authorities and any regulatory investigations.
The fire has triggered public discussions about corporate responsibility in maintaining workplace safety, especially in high-rise buildings.
Lagos state officials are expected to inspect the site and enforce any needed regulations to prevent such disasters in the future.
In expressing its condolences, Heirs Holdings stated it will carry out a thorough review of its safety systems, including fire alarms, escape routes, staff training, and emergency drills. This review is meant to ensure that every safety mechanism is functioning properly.
