Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester Felicitates Oba Abdul Rasaq Akanni Musa on Coronation as Orijeru of Igbooye Kingdom
Hon. Ogunkelu Sylvester, the representative of Epe Constituency II at the Lagos State House of Assembly, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdul Rasaq Akanni Musa, on his historic coronation as the Orijeru of Igbooye Kingdom.

Ekohotblog reports that Speaking on the occasion, Hon. Ogunkelu described the event as a “new dawn” for Igbooye Kingdom, emphasizing the monarch’s exemplary leadership and the promising future his reign signifies.
“Your ascension to the throne is a testament to your remarkable leadership, wisdom, and commitment to the growth and unity of Igbooye Kingdom.
I pray that Almighty God grants you the strength, wisdom, and good health to rule your kingdom with fairness and justice,” he stated.
Highlighting the pivotal role of traditional rulers, Hon. Ogunkelu lauded Oba Musa’s potential to foster unity and development.
“Our traditional rulers are custodians of culture and play a pivotal role in maintaining peace and promoting growth. I am confident that Oba Musa’s reign will usher in unprecedented development and blessings to the kingdom,” he added.
The coronation ceremony, a landmark in Igbooye’s history, was marked by traditional rites, cultural displays, and the presence of esteemed dignitaries, royal fathers, and well-wishers.
Community members also expressed their joy and optimism. Mrs. Omotayo, a community leader, remarked, “Oba Musa has always been a man of the people.
His ascension to the throne is a blessing to us all. We believe his reign will be peaceful and transformative.”
Mr. Ogunlana, a young resident, shared similar sentiments: “Kabiyesi has always been approachable and compassionate. We’re hopeful that his leadership will create more opportunities for the youth.”
Hon. Ogunkelu concluded by urging collective support for the new monarch. “Let us all join hands with His Royal Majesty in building a brighter future for Igbooye Kingdom. Together, we can achieve greatness,” he said.
The event not only celebrated a new era for Igbooye Kingdom but also highlighted the unity and hope shared by its people under the visionary leadership of Oba Abdul Rasaq Akanni Musa.
