The Provost of the Lagos State Cooperative College (LASCOCO), Dr. Adebosin Walid, has applauded the Executive Chairman of Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, for his visionary leadership in empowering the youths of the community.

Eko Hot Blog reports that Dr. Walid, accompanied by the former Provost, Dr. Akorede Ojomu, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Olowa today and was received in the presence of the Council Manager, Mr. Abiodun Oladipupo Otinwa.

Commending the council’s decision to sponsor students at LASCOCO with full tuition, hostel, and upkeep support, Dr. Walid said,
“This initiative is a bold step that allows young people to focus on acquiring relevant skills without distraction.
It prepares them not only for employment but also for entrepreneurship and global opportunities.”
The visit also served as a celebration of Hon. Olowa’s re-emergence for a second term in office.
In his remarks, the council chairman reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to human capital development.
“We believe that by investing in education and skill development, we are investing in the future of Ibeju-Lekki. Our partnership with LASCOCO is a key driver of this vision,” Hon. Olowa stated.
Both LASCOCO and Ibeju-Lekki Local Government emphasized their shared resolve to equip young people with the tools needed to build a sustainable and prosperous future.
