The wife of the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali, has donated essential equipment and devices to students currently undergoing skill acquisition training at the Lagos State Vocational School, Orimedu.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the donation, aimed at enhancing effective and efficient learning, will provide the students with the tools they need to maximize the benefits of the ongoing program.
Speaking during the presentation, Mrs. Kasali emphasized the importance of equipping young people with practical skills that will enable them to become self-reliant.
She said, “Our students deserve the best resources to make their learning journey smooth and productive. With these tools, they will be able to gain not just knowledge, but also confidence to stand on their own.”

Some of the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for the gesture, describing it as a huge relief. One of the students noted, “This donation has taken a huge burden off us. It will make our training easier and more impactful.”
The nine-month skill acquisition program, which began a few weeks ago, is designed to empower students with practical knowledge across various trades, preparing them for self-employment and sustainable livelihoods.
Mrs. Kasali added, “The vision is to raise a generation of skilled youths who can contribute meaningfully to society and reduce unemployment.”
