Hon. Wale Raji Pays Tribute to Late Otunba Bola Odebiyi

The Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, Hon. Wale Raji, has joined numerous dignitaries and community members in mourning the passing of Otunba Bola Taiwo Odebiyi, describing him as a father figure, statesman, and pillar of community development.

Ekohotblog reports that In a condolence message issued on behalf of his family and the people of Epe Federal Constituency, Rep. Wale Raji paid glowing tribute to the late elder statesman, acknowledging his lifelong dedication to philanthropy, education, and social progress.

“His departure is a painful and shocking loss, not just to his immediate family but to the entire Epe community and beyond. Otunba Odebiyi was a pillar of philanthropy, community development, and nation-building.

His commitment to the growth of our people and his dedication to communal unity will never be forgotten,” Raji stated.

He highlighted Otunba Odebiyi’s significant contributions to Epe Grammar School, where he was a pioneer student of the 1954/1959 Set and an active member of the Board of Trustees of the Epe Grammar School Old Students Association (EGOSA).

“His absence will be deeply felt by his beloved wife, children, and family, as well as by members of the Epe Club and EGOSA, where he made invaluable contributions to education and social progress,” he added.

The lawmaker also prayed for the repose of the deceased’s soul and comfort for his grieving family.
