A native of Plateau married to two wives, now deceased, late Chief Anthony Jiwul, who left a legacy of properties in the State, will certainly not be happy anywhere he is as his family is torn apart over claims and ownership of what he has left behind.
One of the choice properties located at Chalim house estate within University of Jos staff quarters, came into public glare when it was said to be fraudulently sold to the Jos north Local Government Chairman, Hon. Shehu Bala, one of the family members’ who dragged the second family to court told our correspondent.

The family member identified as Godwill Jiwul, said his half-brothers who fraudulently sold the house were in a hurry to dispose of the property, hence decieved the LG boss to part with his money.
The matter which is currently in the Jos High Court is seeking justice before his Lordship, Justice Arum Ashom, in a matter of notice against the Registrar of the Plateau State High Court, Mrs. Ladi Madaki Esq, the LG Chairman, Hon. Bala Shehu, and other defendants in contempt of court which had earlier halted both families from interfering with the properties pending the determination of the court on the actual will written by late Anthony Jiwul.
Godwill and the rest of his brothers from his mother’s womb are accusing Mrs. Madaki Esq. for conniving with the second family to disobey court orders and continued to encourage the second family by using the Testamentary Documents for fraudulent transactions including but not limited to using the Testamentary Documents to surrender the Chalim house estate and have it sold to the LG Chairman.
“This honourable court has a sacred duty to protect its integrity, majesty and honour whilst at the same time protecting the Administration of Justice from the caprious tendencies of the contemnors sought to be committed to prison”, the document from the high court handed over to our correspondent said.
