The Ibeju-Lekki Local Government, under the leadership of Executive Chairman Hon. Abdullahi Sesan Olowa, has officially announced the opening of applications for the 2025/2026 recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).
Eko Hot Blog reports that in a statement released by the Council, the recruitment process—which will run for six weeks—is being conducted strictly by the Police Service Commission through the designated national portal.

The Council emphasized that the exercise is entirely free, transparent, and aligned with federal character principles.
According to the announcement, eligible applicants must meet the conditions set by the Nigerian Police Force, including being a Nigerian citizen by birth, meeting academic qualifications, being medically and physically fit, and falling within the approved age bracket for national recruitment.
The online application portal opens on Monday, 15th December 2025, and closes on Sunday, 25th January 2026.
The Council also noted that completed application forms and guarantor forms—after the online registration—is to be submitted to the office of the Chief of Staff, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government.

Ibeju-Lekki Local Government reiterated its commitment to supporting federal institutions, strengthening community security, and ensuring that the recruitment exercise remains open, credible, and accessible to qualified citizens.
