The Lagos State Council of Tradesmen and Artisans (LASCOTA), Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA Chapter, has officially thrown its weight behind the re-election bid of the Executive Chairman, Ikosi-Ejinrin LCDA, Otunba-Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, citing his impressive track record of progressive governance and economic development.
Ekohotblog gathers that the endorsement was made at a strategic meeting held at the Council Secretariat, where the new Executive members of LASCOTA were introduced.

The meeting, presided over by the association’s new Chairman, Alhaji Jamiu Ademola, alongside the immediate past Chairman, Alhaji Akeem Onadanya, and the Board of Trustees (BOT) Chairman, Elder Samson Adebisi Ajijedidun, underscored the artisans’ appreciation for Anomo’s commitment to their welfare.
According to Alhaji Jamiu Ademola, Anomo’s administration has demonstrated an inclusive leadership style that prioritizes the needs of artisans and tradesmen through policies that strengthen business growth, vocational training, and infrastructural improvements.
“We have carefully assessed the leadership of Akogun Wale Raji Anomo, and without any doubt, he has proven to be a people-centered leader.
His policies and projects have impacted all sectors, including artisans and tradesmen, making Ikosi-Ejinrin a more business-friendly environment,” he stated.
Similarly, Elder Ajijedidun emphasized that under Anomo’s leadership, artisans have benefited from financial assistance, skills acquisition programs, and infrastructural development aimed at easing business operations.
“The level of support we have received from the local government is unprecedented.
This administration has not only empowered artisans but has also fostered unity and progress in the sector.
The impact of the financial interventions and training programs cannot be overstated,” he noted.
In response, Otunba Akogun Wale Raji Anomo expressed gratitude for the endorsement, assuring the artisans of his administration’s continued dedication to their growth and prosperity.
He reiterated his commitment to expanding economic empowerment programs and enhancing vocational training to equip artisans with the necessary skills to thrive in an evolving economy.
