Following their release, Israel is expected to free 369 Palestinian prisoners, as confirmed by Hamas’ Prisoner Media Office.
Troufanov, 27, was abducted from Kibbutz Nir Oz on October 7, 2023, alongside his grandmother, mother, and girlfriend, who were released in a previous deal.
His father was killed during the attack. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad, which took him hostage, has released multiple videos of him in captivity.
Dekel-Chen, 35 at the time of his capture, was kidnapped while defending his community in Nir Oz. His wife was pregnant with their third child at the time, and their daughter was born while he was in captivity, celebrating her first birthday in December.
Horn, now 46, was also taken from Nir Oz along with his brother Eitan, who remains in captivity.
