Benjamin said candidates who participated in the mop-up examination can now access their results through JAMB’s approved result-checking platforms.
According to him, the release of the results followed the successful conduct and conclusion of the mop-up exercise held for affected candidates.
“Candidates who participated in the examination can check their results through the Board’s established result-checking channels,” he said.
Benjamin disclosed that the Board would immediately proceed to the next phase of the admission process following the release of the results.
He explained that the ranking of candidates would commence ahead of the printing of admission results.
“Following the successful conclusion of the mop-up exercise and the release of the results, the Board will commence the ranking of candidates.
“Thereafter, the printing of results for admission purposes is expected to begin before the weekend,” he stated.
The JAMB spokesperson also expressed appreciation to candidates, parents and other stakeholders for their patience, understanding and cooperation throughout the examination process.
He noted that the successful conduct of the mop-up exercise demonstrated the Board’s commitment to ensuring that all eligible candidates were given a fair opportunity to participate in the examination.
The mop-up examination was conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2026.
The exercise served as a final opportunity for candidates who were successfully biometrically verified during the main UTME but were unable to sit for the examination due to challenges encountered at some centres.
According to JAMB, the affected candidates experienced issues ranging from technical glitches and biometric verification problems to other disruptions that prevented them from completing the examination during the main exercise.
The main 2026 UTME was conducted between April 16 and April 25, 2026.

With the release of the mop-up results, candidates are expected to check their scores and await further updates from the Board regarding admission processes into tertiary institutions across the country.
