Speaking at the launch, Adediran explained that the campaign group was established to rally support for APC candidates in the upcoming polls.
He reaffirmed his strong commitment to the success of the APC at all levels.
Adediran noted that the self-funded Independent Campaign Group is made up of committed grassroots mobilisers, loyal party members, youth volunteers, and community leaders spread across the 377 wards in the 57 councils and development areas of the state.
“This has been set up to galvanise massive support for all APC candidates in the forthcoming local government elections in the state,” he said.

The group was formally unveiled by Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals.
Adediran, speaking further, described the initiative as an extension of his ongoing commitment to grassroots development and inclusive governance.
“This campaign group is not just about politics, it is about ensuring quality representation at the grassroots, consolidating the gains of good governance, and ensuring that people choose credible leaders.
“I have taken it upon myself to fund and mobilise this initiative because I believe in the future of our state and the strength of our people,” Jandor said.
Adediran stated that the group, which is structured with 24 state apex leaders, 57 local government coordinators, and 377 ward leaders, would begin grassroots engagement through voter education, ward-level outreach, and door-to-door mobilisation.
He explained that the group’s mission is to promote the party’s agenda of continuity, development, and responsive leadership across all communities.
During the unveiling of the campaign committees and coordinators, Princess Adejoke Orelope Adefulire commended Adediran for his dedication to the party’s growth.
Describing Jandor as a true grassroots politician, the former deputy governor of the state emphasized that loyal party members do not require official positions to contribute meaningfully to the party’s success.
“Jandor is a party man; we know those who fold their hands and would not do anything; Jandor is a grassroots party man.
“On behalf of the president, the state governor and the chairman of the party in the state, I thank you and pray that you will live long to enjoy the fruits of your labour,” she said.
The state Chairman of the APC, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, was represented at the event by his deputy, Mr. Moshood Maiyegun.
Other notable figures in attendance included former PDP deputy governorship candidate Safuratu Abdul Kareem and former PDP state deputy chairman, now APC chieftain, Chief Ola Apena, among others.
