JUST IN: FG, Niger Govt Flags-Off Vaccination To Keep Off The Menace Of Anthrax Disease (Video)
Eko Hot Blog reports that the federal government and that of Niger state have flagged off statewide Animal Vaccination against Anthrax.
The excersise was flagged off at a farm belonging to the Emir of Suleja Muhammadu Auwal Ibrahim in Tarfa local government area of the state.
The federal government through the Ministry of Agriculture has deployed fifty thousand doses of the Vaccine while the state government procured four hundred thousand doses.
All Animals including cows, sheep and goats within twelve kilometers radius of where the first case was dictated will be vaccinated.
