Until her death, she had only recently been elected as the Chief Whip of the Odi Olowo Ojuwoye Legislative Arm, where she was seen as a rising voice for youth and women representation.
In honour of her memory, the Chairman of Odi Olowo Ojuwoye LCDA, Hon. Jakande, has directed that all activities at the council’s ICT workstations be suspended for the day.
This includes the ongoing Summer Tech Boot Camp and the Permanent Voter Card (PVC) registration exercise.
The gesture, according to the chairman, is a mark of respect for the late councillor, also known as Zainab Kosoko, whose contributions to community development left a lasting impact.

Her passing has created a painful void in both the legislative arm of the council and the community she served with passion and dedication.
Recall that in a related development, Ibeju-Lekki Local Government Area also mourned the sudden death of its female councillor, Hon. Oluwakemi Rufai.
Hon. Rufai, who represented Ward C1, died in the early hours of Wednesday, August 13, 2025, barely two weeks after being sworn into office.
According to reports, she succumbed to a brief illness, a loss that has left her colleagues, party members, and constituents in deep shock.
