Soldiers have nabbed a top bandits’ commander and killed eight others in a fresh raid in Niger State.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Nigeran Army on Sunday said Military men alongside the Air force have killed eight bandits who were trying to attack the New Bussa Borgu local government area of Niger state.

The development is coming a few days after the United States and the United Kingdom raised an alarm over a possible attack in some parts of the country.
Details of the attack were still sketchy as of the time of filing this report, but sources in the city hosting Kainji Hydro Power Dam told LEADERSHIP newspaper that the combined military team also arrested the commander of the bandits who led the late-night attack.
