Arsenal’s Premier League title ambitions could take a significant hit following reports that Kai Havertz may be ruled out for the rest of the season due to injury.
The German forward sustained a hamstring injury during the club’s warm-weather training camp in Dubai and was scheduled for further medical tests upon Arsenal’s return to England.
According to The Athletic, the 25-year-old has suffered a torn hamstring, potentially sidelining him for the remainder of the campaign.
However, the club has yet to issue an official statement on the severity of his injury.

Havertz’s prolonged absence would be a major blow for manager Mikel Arteta, who already faces a depleted attacking lineup.
Arsenal were unable to reinforce their frontline in the January transfer window, with a failed bid for Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins leaving them short on attacking options.
The injury crisis at the Emirates deepens further with Gabriel Jesus already ruled out for the season due to an ACL injury suffered last month.

Bukayo Saka has been out since December, though he is expected to return in March, while Gabriel Martinelli is also sidelined after limping off in Arsenal’s League Cup semi-final defeat to Newcastle last week.
With Havertz previously expected to lead the line for the remainder of the season, Arteta now has only three fit attacking options: Leandro Trossard, Raheem Sterling, and teenager Ethan Nwaneri.

Havertz has been a key player for the Gunners this season, scoring 15 goals in 34 appearances.
Arteta may address his injury status during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of Arsenal’s crucial league clash against Leicester City.
The Gunners currently sit second in the Premier League, six points behind leaders Liverpool, having played a game more, as they continue their pursuit of a first league title in 21 years.
