Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is well prepared to secure victory across Lagos in the 2027 general elections.
Eko Hot Blog reports that Sanwo-Olu stated this on Monday, August 24, after visiting the party’s presidential and governorship campaign offices to assess preparations for the elections.

The governor said the APC campaign committee had commenced strategic planning and was working on its plans ahead of the 2027 polls.
He said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who is seeking re-election, the APC governorship candidate, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, and other party candidates in Lagos were committed to the campaign.
“The campaign committee is fully in its element, mapping out the road ahead and sharpening our strategy,” Sanwo-Olu said.
He added that serious and structured preparations were already taking place behind the scenes as the party works towards the elections.
Sanwo-Olu said he was encouraged by the commitment and enthusiasm among party members, stressing that the APC remained focused on maintaining its political strength in Lagos.
“I am encouraged by the energy and sense of purpose,” he said.
The governor further described the party as “focused, aligned and ready to win across the board.”
He added that the APC would continue to build on the state’s development efforts while pushing forward with its political and governance agenda.
