North Korea Condemns U.S. Over Trump’s Gaza Relocation Plan

- North Korea condemned Trump’s plan to take over Gaza and relocate its residents.
- KCNA called the proposal an act of U.S. aggression and world domination.
- The UN warned that forced displacement in Gaza would amount to ethnic cleansing.
North Korea has strongly criticized the United States over President Donald Trump’s plan to take over the war-ravaged Gaza Strip and relocate its residents elsewhere, calling the proposal an act of aggression.
In a statement published on Wednesday by its state-controlled news agency, KCNA, North Korea accused the U.S. of pursuing “hegemonic and aggressive ambition for world domination.”

The statement did not directly mention Trump by name but referred to his recent comments about redeveloping Gaza under U.S. control.
“The world is now seething with the U.S. ‘bomb declaration’,” KCNA wrote, condemning Washington’s perceived interference in foreign nations.
“The U.S. should awaken from its anachronistic daydream and stop at once the act of encroaching upon the dignity and sovereignty of other countries and nations.”
North Korea further likened Trump’s Gaza proposal to his previous controversial remarks about making Canada the 51st U.S. state and acquiring Greenland.
The state media outlet emphasized that “the sovereignty, right to self-determination, and territorial integrity of countries and nations can never be a bargaining chip or a mockery of the U.S.”
Despite mounting international criticism, Trump has continued to defend his Gaza plan, first announced last week. He insists that American intervention is necessary to rebuild the devastated region and stabilize the situation.
However, world leaders and human rights organizations have widely condemned the proposal. The United Nations has warned that any forced displacement of Gaza’s population would amount to ethnic cleansing, violating international law.
Trump’s comments come amid ongoing global debates over the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, where thousands of civilians have been displaced due to prolonged conflict. The Biden administration had previously advocated for diplomatic solutions, but Trump’s approach has reignited tensions.

North Korea’s response reflects its long-standing opposition to U.S. foreign policy and military interventions. Pyongyang has often accused Washington of imperialist ambitions and has used such criticisms to justify its own military expansion and nuclear program.
As Trump continues to push his controversial plan, international opposition is expected to grow, with North Korea joining a chorus of global voices denouncing the proposal.
