Radda explained that the expanded policy is aimed at attracting outstanding graduates into the public service to improve efficiency and strengthen governance in the state.

According to him, the automatic employment initiative was initially introduced for first-class graduates of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University and other tertiary institutions within Katsina State, but will now apply to eligible students graduating from any institution in the country from this year onward.
He expressed confidence that recruiting more exceptional graduates would transform the state’s workforce over the next decade, creating a highly skilled civil service capable of matching the best in Nigeria.
The governor also highlighted his administration’s investment in education, noting that outstanding scholarship obligations had been cleared and bursary allowances increased to support students in completing their studies.
He added that the government had made progress in reducing the number of out-of-school children while expanding access to quality education through sustained funding of the sector.
Radda said his administration has recruited more than 10,000 teachers, built new schools and rehabilitated existing educational facilities across the state.

He encouraged students to remain committed to academic excellence and use their knowledge to contribute to the development of Katsina State.
Speaking at the event, Bayero University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Haruna Musa-Muhammad, praised the governor for his education-friendly policies, particularly the improved scholarship scheme, and pledged the university’s support in advancing educational development.
Earlier, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Student Matters, Muhammad Nagaske, said the Students’ Week was created to promote academic excellence, cultural exchange, talent discovery and collaboration among Katsina students studying across the country.
The week-long programme attracted students from institutions in Kano, Jigawa, Bauchi, Borno and other states, with outstanding participants receiving awards for excellence in academics, sports and cultural activities.
