According to a source, the kidnappers divided themselves into three groups before attacking and whisking away 13 residents.
EKO HOT BLOG reports that barely 48 hours after kidnappers invaded Kasada village, killing a class teacher and abducting his pregnant wife and five others, 13 villagers have been abducted in neighbouring Ggau village in Gaube ward of Kuje Area Council of the FCT.
A resident of Gaube, Saidu Yahaya, said the incident happened on Wednesday at about 11pm when the kidnappers, wielding weapons, and in their numbers, invaded the community.

He said the kidnappers divided themselves into three groups before attacking the houses and whisking away 13 residents including three women and two children.
“The most pathetic thing is that a man called Shuaibu, who just returned from a condolence of one of his relatives that was killed by kidnappers at Kasada village, was also kidnapped with his two children,” he said.
Meanwhile, the kidnappers of the pregnant wife of the late class teacher have demanded N10 million ransom from the family of the deceased.
A family member of the deceased class teacher, simply identified as Haruna, who spoke with journalists on Thursday, over the phone, said the kidnappers called one of the relatives of the deceased teacher on Wednesday, and made the demand.
“Incidentally, I was with Haruna when the leader of the kidnappers called on Wednesday, demanding N10 million ransom from the family of the deceased alone, and we told him ‘you people have killed the person who is supposed to go and raise the ransom,” he said.

He said the leader of the kidnappers switched off the call after the complaint.
There was no official response from the spokeswoman of the FCT police command, DSP Adeh Josephine, on the latest kidnap incident at Ggau village.
