In a video shared online, Seaking recounted meeting two inmates who have been incarcerated since 1999 over a stolen generator. One inmate was accused of stealing the generator, while the other was arrested for purchasing it.

“There’s someone in Kirikiri who was accused of stealing a generator, and the person who bought it is also in prison. Both of them have been there since 1999. Calculate the years,” Seaking explained in Pidgin English, expressing disbelief at the injustice.
He questioned why the buyer of the stolen generator was imprisoned for 26 years alongside the alleged thief, highlighting the harsh realities faced by the underprivileged in Nigeria’s justice system.
