EKO HOT BLOG reports that Walker will now play under Burnley coach Scott Parker, his former teammate at Tottenham Hotspur. Expressing his excitement, Walker said, “I’m delighted to be here. I can’t wait to come in and add my experience and quality to what looks like an exciting squad. When I spoke to Scott and heard about his plans for next season, it was an opportunity I jumped at. He’s done an amazing job here, guiding the club back to the Premier League.”
Walker made just 15 appearances for Manchester City during the first half of the 2024-2025 season before moving to AC Milan in January. However, the Italian club chose not to make the move permanent. During his time at Manchester City, Walker won 17 major trophies, including the historic treble in 2023.
In a separate transfer, Manchester United have secured the signing of Diego Leon from Paraguayan side Cerro Porteño. The young defender made 33 senior appearances and scored 4 goals before completing his move to Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan have finalised the signing of French striker Yoan Bonny from Parma. The Italian giants paid €24 million plus add-ons to land the forward. Bonny made his Serie A debut in the 2024-2025 season, scoring 6 goals in 37 league matches.
The summer transfer window is gathering pace, with clubs strengthening their squads ahead of the new season.
