Lagos organises aptitude, occupational interest tests for 11,000 JSS 3 students
Lagos State Government has concluded plans to conduct aptitude test as well as occupational interest inventory for 110,000 Junior Secondary School three(JSS3) students in public schools across the state.
In a statement, Deputy Director, Public Affairs, Ministry of Education, Adesegun Ogundeji, said the assessment will commence on Monday, May 6.
Ogundeji said: “The screening test will be in two stages, which is the Aptitude Test and the Occupational Interest Inventory Test for students in JSS3 transiting into Senior Secondary School(SSS) 1 is to help the pupils in picking a career in arts/humanities, science and business studies.
“The screening, which is free and compulsory for all students, will be administered by seasoned counsellors in all the six Educational Districts, while the aptitude test is slated for May 6 and 28.”
