The leader of the team, Mrs. Badmus, spoke to the people about the benefits of learning a skill.
She explained that the certificates given by the Lagos State Agency for Mass Education are recognized worldwide and can help people find better opportunities.
“Learning a skill gives you the power to stand on your own and make your life better.
“The certificates we offer can be used anywhere in the world. Don’t miss this chance,” Mrs. Badmus said.
Market leaders in Epe were happy about the program. Mrs. Adeola Giwa, the Iya Oloja of Oluwo Fish Market, said,
“This is a great idea from the Lagos State Government. It will help our youths and create a better future for them.”
Chief Roselyn, the Iya Oloja of Pobo Market, also praised the initiative and encouraged young people to join.
“I want to tell all the youths to take this chance seriously. Learning a skill can change your life,” she said.
The campaign aims to reduce unemployment and empower people by teaching them skills like tailoring, carpentry, fish farming and catering.
