Lai Mohammed Accuses IPOB Of Killing Two Police Officers

EKO HOT BLOG reports that the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has accused the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of executing two policemen in cold blood.

A statement on Monday by Information Minister, Lai Mohammed declared that IPOB militant wing, Eastern Security Network (ESN) carried out the murder.

In the video, a number of young men, communicating in Igbo language, surrounded two decapitated heads.

They joked, mocked the deceased and repeatedly mentioned that one looked like “Fulani” from the look of his nose.

Mohammed vowed that the culprits behind the “killings, who videotaped their heinous act and circulated such will be apprehended and brought to justice”.

He described the abduction of three policemen and the killing of two of them, “in the most horrific, barbaric and cannibalistic manner, as an unacceptable attack against the state”.

The minister listed the victims as ASP Francis Idoko (AP No. 154945); Inspector Emmanuel Akubo (AP No. 222336) and Inspector Rufai Adamu (AP. No. 2850 09).
