EKO HOT BLOG reports that Ellison, 81, remains Oracle’s largest individual shareholder and has reaped significant gains from the company’s strong performance in AI infrastructure. His billionaire journey began in 1977 when he co-created Oracle after leaving college, turning it into one of the world’s leading enterprise software giants.
Outside his technology empire, Ellison owns nearly the entire Hawaiian island of Lana’i and has been instrumental in revitalising the Indian Wells tennis tournament in California, popularly referred to by fans as the “fifth slam.”
Ellison has also been closely associated with U.S. politics, maintaining ties with former President Donald Trump and involving Oracle in government technology projects. His name has surfaced in previous reports linking him to possible acquisitions, including TikTok, though those efforts have yet to materialise.

With this milestone, Ellison cements his status not only as a tech pioneer but also as the world’s wealthiest individual, riding on the wave of global demand for artificial intelligence.
