In response to the current food inflation affecting the economy, the Lagos State Government has taken measures to support vulnerable pregnant women by distributing various food items in collaboration with Health District IV.

Speaking at the event, The Special Adviser, who was represented by Dr. Omotayo Babatunde, a Director in the Office, emphasized Governor Sanwo-Olu’s commitment to the welfare of pregnant women, infants, children, and other vulnerable groups in the state.

He assured that the government will continue working tirelessly to improve their lives.
Dr. Abimbola Bowale, the Permanent Secretary of Health District IV, acknowledged the positive impact of the programme on the beneficiaries, highlighting the joy and relief it brought to expectant mothers within the Health District IV community.
Reacting, one of the beneficiaries said, “I want to appreciate the Lagos State Government for what they have done for us.
