LASTMA Inducts State Auditor-General as Special Traffic Mayor

In a recent ceremony, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) inducted and honored Dr. Muyiwa John Adetola, the State Auditor-General and Permanent Secretary, as a Special Traffic Mayor.

Awoyemi explained that the initiative aims to strengthen traffic management efforts by enlisting the support and cooperation of esteemed civil servants in Lagos State.
In response, Dr. Adetola expressed his gratitude for the appointment and commended LASTMA for its forward-thinking approach.
He pledged his continued commitment to supporting the agency in its mission to enhance traffic flow, minimize infractions, and alleviate congestion across Lagos State.
“The role of LASTMA in managing traffic is commendable and I am honoured to contribute to their efforts as a Special Traffic Mayor. I look forward to collaborating with the Agency to improve traffic conditions and safety for all road users”, he stated
