A female student of Lagos State University (LASU) has reportedly been forcefully taken away by suspected armed security officers after accusing her landlord of s3xual harassment and death threats.
Eko Hot Blog reports that videos circulating online show the student being bundled into a vehicle by men dressed in police uniforms, with at least one visibly armed with a rifle.

Eyewitnesses said the men claimed they were taking her to the Zone 2 police command, but her current whereabouts remain unknown.
The footage, posted by Facebook user Obi Franklin, has sparked outrage among rights activists and student groups.
Franklin raised the alarm, tagging organisations like Human Rights Watch, LASU Students Association, and social activist VeryDarkMan.
“THE LASU STUDENT THAT HAD A CASE WITH HER LANDLORD TREATS AND OPPRESSION HAS BEEN ARRESTED FORCEFULLY BY MEN DRESSED AS SECURITY OFFICERS… TO AN UNKNOWN DESTINATION,” he wrote.

He added that the men told neighbours they were from Zone 2 and urged the public to share the video until it reaches the Inspector General of Police and LASU Vice Chancellor.
The student had earlier posted a distressing video accusing her landlord of threatening to kill her after she rejected his s3xual advances.
In the video, the landlord allegedly responded, “You are going to die,” and claimed ₦500,000 could be used to “settle” the matter.
The confrontation is said to have occurred at the student’s residence in Igando, Lagos.
Popular activist VeryDarkMan had visited the location and identified the landlord as the owner of a sachet water factory.
He raised concerns that the case extended beyond harassment, alleging possible health risks tied to the water factory operations.
“No be only the girl the man wan kpai ooo, na everybody wey dey drink him water he wan kpai,” he said in a video, urging NAFDAC to inspect the premises.
As of the time of reporting, both LASU management and the Lagos Police Command have yet to issue statements on the incident.
The student’s safety and wellbeing remain a concern as calls grow louder for her release and proper investigation into the landlord’s actions.
The case has ignited debates about abuse of power and the vulnerability of students living off-campus in Nigeria.
