In a heartening display of community service, the Lagos Golden Heart Lions Club has made a generous donation of N5 million to the Pediatric Cancer Ward of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).

The initiative, titled “Healing Hearts, Saving Lives,” is among the projects planned for the 2024/2025 Lions Year.
During the donation event, District Governor for District 404-B4 Nigeria, Lion Taiwo Oladayo Fatoki, emphasized the significance of supporting young cancer patients.
“We aim to ease the financial pressure on families and ensure that children facing cancer have access to the medical care they need,” he stated.
Hospital officials expressed their deep appreciation for the generous donation made by the Lagos Golden Heart Lions Club, acknowledging the significant impact it will have on the lives of vulnerable patients.
