Juventus eventually broke the deadlock in the 34th minute when Weston McKennie unleashed a stunning strike from the edge of the box after PSV failed to clear their lines.
Mbangula entered as a half-time substitute for Yildiz and almost made an instant impact, only for his volley to be cleared off the line by Ryan Flamingo.
PSV struggled to create clear-cut chances but managed to equalize with just their second shot on target when Ivan Perisic curled a precise effort into the bottom corner.
After a lengthy VAR check, Perisic’s first Champions League goal since 2020 was upheld despite claims that Noah Lang had handled the ball in the build-up.
