According to Deworitshe, the report emanated from an online publication.

She urged the public to beware of the information as it did not come from the Ministry of Health.

“The attention of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare has been drawn to an online publication in the media that the Ministry is giving out Fifteen thousand Naira ,(N15,000) INSTANT RELIEF FUNDS, to the public,” the message reads.

“The general public is to be informed that the Ministry is not in the process of giving such money.

“The public is to note and beware as the information is not from the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare.”
