Andy Murray will extend his coaching role with Novak Djokovic, joining the 24-time Grand Slam champion for the upcoming Indian Wells tournament and Miami Open.
Djokovic, 37, is set to compete in both ATP Masters events—known as the ‘Sunshine Double’—for the first time since 2019. Murray’s team confirmed that the 37-year-old Scot departed for the United States on Monday.

The Indian Wells main draw kicks off later this week, followed by the Miami Open on March 19.
Djokovic’s most recent match was a first-round loss to Italy’s Matteo Berrettini at the Qatar Open on February 18, a tournament where Murray was absent.
The Serbian great initially brought in Murray on a trial basis during January’s Australian Open. Djokovic reached the semi-finals in Melbourne but was forced to retire against Germany’s Alexander Zverev due to a hamstring injury.

Following his withdrawal, Djokovic suggested that he and Murray would take time to reflect before deciding on the future of their partnership. Murray, a three-time Grand Slam winner, also remained non-committal at the time.
However, speaking in Qatar last month, Djokovic confirmed that Murray had agreed to continue in his corner and hinted at a collaboration in the U.S., though he stopped short of officially announcing his plans until now.
