Popular gospel singer Nathaniel Bassey has issued a stern warning to married men, cautioning them against engaging in extramarital affairs, especially with single women, saying such actions carry serious consequences.
Eko Hot Blog reports that the singer delivered the warning while addressing a congregation in a now-viral video, where he condemned the habit of some married men deceiving young women and leading them on under false pretences.

Bassey stressed that his message should not be taken lightly, insisting that those who engage in such behaviour would face public disgrace and lasting consequences.

He warned that secrecy would not protect anyone, adding that actions carried out in private could quickly become public knowledge.
The gospel minister also spoke against secret hotel meetings and the act of hiding one’s marital status, noting that dishonesty in relationships often ends in shame rather than satisfaction.

Beyond addressing men, Bassey equally cautioned women who knowingly involve themselves with married men, warning that material gains or temporary comfort would not shield them from the consequences of such choices.
He urged both men and women to uphold integrity, self-discipline, and moral responsibility in relationships, emphasising that accountability remains central to healthy families and society at large.
