NCDC Confirms 12 More Deaths, 1,270 New COVID-19 Infections
The latest figures by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has shown that Nigeria has recorded a total of 102,601 COVID-19 infections.
In its latest case update dated January 12, the NCDC reports 1,270 new infections and 12 deaths resulting from COVID-19 complications.
The new infections were recorded in 22 states — Lagos (435), FCT (234), Oyo (103), Plateau (86), Rivers (71), Enugu (51), Nasarawa (41), Delta (39), Edo (39), Osun (33), Niger (31), Sokoto (23), Ondo (16), Taraba (13), Ebonyi (12), Kano (10), Abia (9), Bayelsa (8), Bauchi (7), Imo (5), Katsina (3) and Gombe (1).

As gathered by Eko Hot Blog, out of the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria, 81,574 cases have been discharged while the death toll stands at 1,373.
