During the Eid el-Fitr celebrations, operatives of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps (Ikorodu Command) apprehended two individuals attempting to steal items in front of the Central Mosque on Kazeem Arulogun Street, Ikorodu.
The suspects, Olamilekan Adumobi (21) from Ogun State and Jabir, a scrap dealer from Katsina State, were caught around 2:00 PM. They later confessed to stealing five cutting discs, two welding tongs, five angle irons, and one hammer from a property in Abule Balogun, Eruwen.

The property owners—Barrister Ade Adeshina and Pastor Talabi Adegbenro—chose not to press charges but insisted the suspects write undertakings promising to desist from criminal activities.
