Streaming giant, Netflix, has again raised its subscription prices in Nigeria, the third time in less than a year.
This most recent hike is the first in 2025, and it was sighted on its website by EKO HOT BLOG.

According to the update, Netflix’s Premium plan now costs ₦8,500 a month, up from ₦7,000.
The Standard plan which initially ₦5,500 has jumped to ₦6,500.
Meanwhile, the Basic plan rose from ₦3,500 to ₦4,000, and the Mobile plan from ₦2,200, up from ₦2,500.
This comes after two earlier price hikes by Netflix in April and July 2024.
The nation is currently experiencing challenges of rising living expenses, a falling naira, and record inflation as telecom providers increased their tariffs by 50 per cent.
Similarly, rhe parent company of DStv and GOtv, MultiChoice, were not left out in the hike as they announced new prices that took effect on March 1, 2025.
