Nigeria Qualifies For 2021 AFCON — With 2 Games Left
- The result leaves Gernot Rohr’s boys with 8 points ahead of Benin Republic
- They will take on the Crocodiles of Lesotho on Tuesday
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have secured their place in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with two matches to go.
The three-time African champions qualified for Africa’s biggest sport event after Sierra Leone and Lesotho match ended in stalemate following a goalless in Maseru on Saturday afternoon.
The result leaves the Gernot Rohr’s boys with 8 points ahead of Benin Republic while Sierra Leone trails them by 4 points
The Eagles will slug it out with the Squirrels by 5 pm on Saturday evening at Stade Charles de Gaulle in Porto Novo.
They will then take on the Crocodiles of Lesotho on Tuesday in the last match of their qqualifying campaign at the Teslim Balogun stadium in Lagos.
