Sources said the NYSC official allegedly announced her death and mobilised fellow corps members to arrange her burial. She was reportedly buried at Kobape Cemetery along Kobape-Sagamu Road in Abeokuta.
There are also allegations that Olalekan was in a romantic relationship with the deceased, which reportedly led to the pregnancy and its termination. Authorities are yet to confirm these claims.

The incident comes barely a month after another female corps member, Adeleye Mary said to be a friend of the deceased died under unclear circumstances while serving in the same local government. She had been posted to Ogun State Television as her place of primary assignment.
A police source confirmed that Olalekan is currently in custody at the state command headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta.
When contacted, the spokesperson of the Nigeria Police Force in the state declined to comment on the arrest but confirmed that investigations into Ariyo’s death are ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department.
Authorities say further details will emerge as the investigation continues.
